The
Valley of the Sun
Phoenix is appropriately named the
valley of the sun. For those who are searching for the sun's hideaway
spot, welcome to Phoenix! If you have geologic interest, the Grand
Canyon provides schist's that are nearly two billion years old.
Life in Arizona is not for the couch potato though.
Grasp life at the horns and explore
what the Arizona outdoors offers - camping, tubing, jet skiing,
rock climbing, hiking and there's no better place to barbeque than
at one of the many lakes the valley offers. For entertainment seekers,
check out our LINKS that are guaranteed
not to disappoint.
Phoenix is home to over thirty Zambians but probably
houses many more. The vast job opportunities have attracted Civil
Engineers, Teachers, Geological Engineers, Students, Software Engineers
and many other professionals who have come to make the valley their

Mother
Zambia
Mother Zambia sits on a savanna covered plateau and is home to
the awe-inspiring Musi-o-Tunya Falls whose grandeur can only be
felt by a personal encounter.
Our diversity and peace loving nature
is clearly evident in the amicable existence of over 70 indigenous
languages whose worst battle was the struggle for independence from
British rule obtained on OCTOBER 24th,
1964. The country is divided into 9 provinces and Lusaka is
the capital city. Mining, Agriculture and Tourism are among the
main sources of the country's income. Nsima is the key ingredient
to our staple diet - a communal food eaten with no utensils and
seldom eaten alone. It keeps us together and az-zambians make it
a habit to indulge in a weekly meal at one of the various homes.
Feel free to host a meal or join us in a nostalgic get together
that's bound to give you a taste of home!
